Symptoms:

  • Gear ratio & solenoid codes
  • Various shift concerns
  • No shift

Cause:

Bore wear prevents proper valve stroke and reduces critical clutch/brake feed/apply oil flow through the various relay/control/switch valves.

Correction:

Restore proper clutch/brake feed and apply control by reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized three-spool relay/control/switch valve kit.

You need this if...

Vacuum testing at the port(s) indicated fails to hold the recommended minimum in-Hg, or if wear is visually detected.
NOTE: The vacuum test for the B1/C3 Relay Port in TF-81SC application is an example of a typical port location. All the other valves should be checked similarly at the port associated with the plug-to-valve spool interface.
