All linear solenoids have a resistance of 5-5.6 Ohms. The shift solenoids have a resistance of 11-15 Ohms and are normally closed on/off types that are powered by the TCM. The throttle solenoid is also known as the EPC solenoid. Brackets hold the solenoid retaining pins in place and position the wiring harness.
