The Ford 8F24, 8F35, 8F40, 8F57 8-speed FWD transmissions went into production in 2019. These variations are all mated to different engine sizes and engine torque capacities. Reference the application chart for makes, models, engine size and production years.
These valve bodies all have different variations, including solenoid configurations. The best locations for a quick identification are the bottom, right side of the valve body casting and the valve-body-to-case bolt locations.
