Vehicles equipped with Aisin Seiki AS68RC transmissions utilize a dual-functioning K3/B2 valve to control the application of the K3 clutch and the B2 brake. The inner most bore has shown to be prone to wear which can lead to 2-3 flares, delayed Reverse and pressure switch codes. Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized K3/B2 valve kit 99740-09K restores proper K3 clutch and B2 brake control.
Vacuum testing at the port(s) indicated fails to hold the recommended minimum in-Hg, or if wear is visually detected.
