Bushwhacked! Keys to Avoiding Preventable Bushing Problems

Symptoms:

Cause:
OE bushing material composition allows premature wear; excess clearance between input clutch hub bushing and stator support allows leakage in underdrive circuit.Correction:
Restore critical clearances, eliminate leaks and resist untimely wear by installing Sonnax input clutch hub bushing.Warning:
Use of an arbor press is required for correct installation. Do not use a hydraulic press or a bushing driver/hammer combination to install, as doing so may distort the bushing and cause fitment issues.
