Symptoms:

  • Low solenoid feed pressure
  • Delayed engagement

Cause:

Worn out OE boost valve/sleeve assemblies can allow cross-leakage of critical fluid pressure to adjacent oil circuits or to the sump. Low hydraulic circuit pressures will adversely affect shift timing and feel.

Correction:

Eliminate hydraulic dysfunction traced to worn OE boost valve/sleeve assemblies by replacing worn out parts with Sonnax Reverse brake pressure control valve kit.
