The Chrysler 845RE and ZF8HP45/55/70 clutch holding valves provide solenoid feedback pressure to the clutch control valves, balancing each control valve to assist with apply and release of the respective clutch. Excess wear at a clutch holding valve bore allows crucial fluid to escape the circuit. This can cause shift timing problems, a burnt clutch, ratio and solenoid codes, or loss of gears. Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized clutch holding valve kit 35740-20K eliminates bore wear and stops leakage for renewed clutch operation.
Sonnax valve body layouts provide a detailed overview of individual units making it quick and easy to determine what’s available for the specific valve body you’re working on. See all Sonnax valve body layouts.
