Sonnax OE thrust bearing FD-N-17 replaces worn or damaged front cover thrust bearings in Ford FNR5 (FS5A-EL) and Mazda FS5A-EL (FN5R) converters. It replaces OE thrust washers in listed Subaru converters.
For Subaru TR690, TR58 Applications: The OE thrust washer is known to wear out prematurely and cause restriction of the oil passage that bleeds off application pressure. This results in very low RPM when coming to a stop (refer to Subaru TSB 16-90-13). Use Sonnax thrust bearing FD-N-17 to replace these defective OE thrust washers.
