Vehicles equipped with Chrysler 845RE and ZF8HP45, ZF8HP55 and ZF8HP70 transmissions may have TCC problems such as harsh apply, excess slip, lining failure and related trouble codes. These issues are often the result of bore wear at the TC pressure valve, which allows critical control pressure to escape the circuit. Leakage here can also cause a 2-1 downshift clunk and diminished lube oil flow. Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized TC pressure valve kit 35740-18K eliminates bore leakage for renewed TC and lube control.
