Vehicles equipped with Chrysler 845RE and ZF8HP45, ZF8HP55 and ZF8HP70 transmissions may display concerns such as no lockup, excess TCC slip, soft or harsh apply and TCC codes. In some cases, engine stall can occur due to TCC being stuck in the apply position. These problems can be caused by bore wear at the TC switch valve, which allows crucial pressure loss from the circuit. Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized TC switch valve 35740-05 brings the TCC switch circuit back under control by eliminating the path for fluid escape.
