Sonnax offers heavy-duty forged front cover CH-CC-5 for the Chrysler 45RFE torque converters. This cover is machined from a forging allowing the wall thickness to be increased where needed. The added thickness between the friction ring and the mounting pads increases the stiffness of the front cover. This cover is furnished with no balance weights.

• Made from a high-quality AISI 1026 steel forging
• Thicker cross section between pads and lockup surface for a stronger cover and better heat dissipation
• Smooth surface finish on the lockup surface for consistent lockup and long clutch life
• Thrust face to lockup surface is the same distance as OE for more consistent rebuilding
• Longer lip to make it easier to reuse impeller covers
