Symptoms:

  • Delayed Reverse
  • Reverse slip
  • Low line pressure
  • No 3rd
  • 2-3 Flare
  • Delayed Forward only in OD range

Cause:

The 1-2 or reverse servo bore can become worn or scored from repeated oscillation during normal operation.

Correction:

This 1-2 or reverse servo & sleeve kit salvages cases with a worn or scored servo bore and improves reverse, 2-3, 3-2 shift control.

Normal operation takes it toll on the 1-2 or reverse servo bore in 4T60 & E units as repeated oscillation eventually wears or scores the bore. Sonnax has designed a 1-2 or reverse servo and sleeve kit, 84791-01K, that contains everything necessary to salvage the case.

  • Kit improves reverse, 2-3, 3-2 shift control.
  • Kit allows for the reuse of the OE springs, pin, washer, spring retainer, cover retaining ring and clip.
  • This drop-in repair kit requires no machining

This kit will replace the 1-2 or reverse servo in 4T60 applications. In the 4T60-E, this will replace the reverse servo only
