Cause:

A worn pressure regulator bore at the modulating pressure spool area.

Correction:

Sonnax outer pressure regulator sleeve salvages the worn valve body by restoring the modulating pressure bore area.

Required tool kit F-68942-TL6 is no longer in production. Check with your distributor for availability.

Excessive valve-to-bore clearance at the modulating pressure area allows modulated solenoid feed pressure to exhaust, reducing line pressure and creating shift-related complaints. Sonnax outer pressure regulator sleeve 68942-06 salvages the valve body with a precision-machined, wear-resistant aluminum sleeve.
