Symptoms:
- Slips & flares
- Erratic shift feel & engagements
- Harsh upshifts
- Bind-up
- Excess Reverse pressure & distorted housings
- TCC cycling
- TCC slip
- Low cooler flow
- Overheating
Cause:
Excessive solenoid pressure is caused by line pressure side-loading the steel solenoid modulator valve along with the continuous oscillation of the valve, which wears the cast aluminum bore.Correction:
Sonnax solenoid modulator valve and high-grade aluminum sleeve allow the bore to be refurbished, and prevent side-loading of the valve and future wear.U151E, U151F, U250E

In Toyota/Lexus U151E, U151F and U250E transmissions, the steel OE solenoid modulator valve is prone to side-loading in the bore. This side-loading action, combined with repeated oscillation of the valve, prematurely wears the cast aluminum bore causing shift and TCC concerns. Sonnax solenoid modulator valve kit 27741-13K restores normal solenoid supply pressures.
