Anatomy of a Transmission: Oil Flow in the Pump-PR-Converter-Cooler Lube Circuits
Gregg Nader
Vehicles equipped with Jatco JF011E (RE0F10A) transmissions commonly have TCC apply and release concerns that can be traced to problems in the torque converter pressure regulator bore. Wear in this bore allows critical fluid escape from the circuit, resulting in erratic apply pressure, TCC codes and shudder/slip issues. In addition, lube failures and overheat symptoms can arise. Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized torque converter pressure regulator valve kit 113741-13K clears up these troubles for renewed TCC control.
Sonnax valve body layouts provide a detailed overview of individual units making it quick and easy to determine what’s available for the specific valve body you’re working on. See all Sonnax valve body layouts.
