Common concerns associated with listed Hyundai/Kia transmissions are high TCC slip, TCC lining degradation, TCC slip codes and converter apply or release concerns. These issues are often caused by excess wear at the TCC control valve bore. This deterioration can also lead to lube and cooler flow inhibition, resulting in an overheat situation. Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized TCC control valve kit 102741-11K restores hydraulic integrity for renewed TCC, lubrication and cooler circuit operation.
