Symptoms:

Cause:

Excess wear at the TCC control valve bore due to continuous oscillation allows critical fluid loss that causes multiple TCC and lube/cooler circuit concerns.

Correction:

Salvage the pump and restore proper TCC apply/release and cooling circuit operation by installing Sonnax oversized TCC control valve kit.

Common concerns associated with Ford 6F35 (Gen. 1, Gen. 2 and Gen. 3) units are high TCC slip, TCC lining degradation, TCC slip codes, and converter apply or release concerns. These issues are often caused by excess wear at the TCC control valve bore. In addition, converter/lube and cooler flow can be inhibited, resulting in an overheat situation.
