Symptoms:

Cause:

Wear at the valve bore and spools of the lockup timing valve allows critical lube pressure to cross-leak to adjacent circuits or escape to the sump. Converter charge and lube/cooler pressure and flow are negatively affected by a worn lockup timing valve.

Correction:

Reconditioning the bore and installing Sonnax oversized lockup timing valve kit eliminates lost lube and pressure, restoring OE functionality to the converter charge and lube/cooler circuits.
