Vehicles with an Aisin AW 450-43LE transmission may exhibit wear in the secondary regulator valve body bore from continuous movement of the valve, causing loss of hydraulic control. Depending on the area and extent of wear, this can cause an overheated converter or transmission, loss of power and/or planetary and bushing failure.
